GO Rentals is a rental car company catering to residents and tourists in New Zealand. While working for Icon Advertising, I helped GO Rentals with the creation of HTML email newsletters that were sent out to over 20,000 registered subscribers in their database.
The email received very positive feedback from the client, who told me it was "one of our best email newsletters" and that within minutes of sending the email, they had received inquiries on their website.
Like all email newsletters, it had to be coded to support a wide variety of email programs and browser-based email clients, including Gmail, Yahoo, and Hotmail on both PCs and Macs, as well as Mac Mail and the finicky Outlook 2007. I worked with the designers at Icon to achieve aesthetically pleasing graphics while still maintaining the ability to render properly across this variety of platforms.
